City, Safe and Smart with Technology.

Image
Smart cities should build on the idea that technology must enrich society and the lives of people in ways that are practical. How to dispose off Li ion batteries and lead acid batteries(Car batteries) :The hazardous waste?     Disposal of lead acid battery in public spaces as well as in common waste bins is hazardous as, these batteries have H2SO4 in them. H2SO4 can react with substances like metals producing heat and fire. A leakage in the battery may cause explosion. So safe disposal of these is necessary.     This idea of safe disposal is to put a separate waste bin for hazardous waste. The bin will have a diluted baking soda liquid. The user could keep the battery on top of the bin; and this will pull it down to, where a solution of baking soda is there. So that H2SO4 leakages in the battery will neutralize to  carbon di oxide which extinguishes fire H2SO4(aq) + 2NaHCO3(aq) → Na2SO4(aq) +  2CO2(g)  + 2H2O(l) lead will react with Na2CO3 to fo...

Sands of Prince Edward

Singing sand, also called whistling sand or barking sand, is sand that produces sound. The sound emission may be caused by wind passing over dunes or by walking on the sand. Certain conditions have to come together to create singing sand: The sand grains have to be round and between 0.1 and 0.5 mm in diameter. The sand has to contain silica. The sand needs to be at a certain humidity. The most common frequency emitted seems to be close to 450 Hz. There are various theories about the singing sand mechanism. It has been proposed that the sound frequency is controlled by the shear rate. Others have suggested that the frequency of vibration is related to the thickness of the dry surface layer of sand. The sound waves bounce back and forth between the surface of the dune and the surface of the moist layer, creating a resonance that increases the sound's volume. The noise may be generated by friction between the grains or by the compression of air between them. Other sounds...

Borders of USA

Image
Have you heard of Haskell free library? I felt this amazing. The library has some parts of 'The Worlds Longest Border' running inside... This border that runs between two extremely powerful nations that has great relations between each other has much more interesting stories to say. It runs between the runways, libraries, forests and public places. How'd it be when two flights from different nations runs parallel reaching different destinations? Entered from US must exit to US. Entered from Canada must Exit to Canada. Guard force will be taking action otherwise. If you are IN from Canada  and OUT to US by mistake report soon to the "walking area"... Americans sit on the right chair but Canadians sit on the left chair ! :) That table has an amazing fate. What if a Canadian is pulling the table to their side when US people are sitting in those chairs ? :) Interesting !

Ancient Linguistics

Image
What came first, Sanskrit or Tamil? This is a very relevant and unanswered question for the present. Unclear evidences suggests that tamil was the oldest laguage but supporting clear evidences are missing till date. Sanskrit literature tells about 4 yuga's namely satyayuga, tradayuga, dwaparayuga and kaliyuga. Satya yuga is described as the period in history where, the holy cow of dharma dwells with 4 legs, where the land witnesses dharmic and legitimate people only. Sbsequently in the following yuga's the holy cow loses one leg each say in tretayuga, the cow stands in 3 legs which is symbolic that 1/4th of people on land are adharmic. In dwapara yuga cow stands in 2 and at kaliyuga cow stands in a single leg. Tamil litrature says that satyayuga is called giriyugam which means people lived in 'giri' or mountain peaks i.e, caves and dens. Next yuga for them is tarayuga or the yuga of ground or space. According to them, by tretayugam poppulation has increased and p...

Thought of a thought from Mind?

How'd it be if no two people thinks the same but puts in wrong interpretations to convey similar messages which somehow convinces the other person. That could be a fact. People consider that to be of a prime cocern and label someone boring just because he wished 'hi' insted of an expected 'good morning'. People like suprises which would again be misunderstood in a veriety of ways. One who have faith in god has the right to believe this fact because God is extremely skillful and unknown. This pug always wanted to be with his owner. Atleast near his home but he lives in another place near the owners home. This pug loves the owner but he does not pay much attention to it other than feeding it water and some pedigree. The dog used to be chaned and kept in a single place for 24 hours a day except when a care taker takes it for a short walk in the evenings. Recently it is untied and kept, the excitement and freedom it experiaced bounted no limits. It was mov...

People around me looks quite strange. As I was walking back home yesterday, I've seen two 'normal' human engagements with the animals they own. I think humans are the only animals that own other animals to enjoy torturing them. Any other animal hunt their prey to own them completely to satisfy their appetite. Let me explain to you these two extreme normal engagements. They are not really extreme as we know that we are human beings and we do more extremes. The word extreme is used in the sense to express extreme emotions to them. Walking past the muddy and marshy narrow lane, past a couple of normal households towards our usual mess and nearby house, a scene of a man patting a dog was the first one. He was playing with it with a ball and feeding it. I've often seen my classmate putting watsapp status with a dog saying how much she loves it. I've noticed many of my friends and strangers trying to loose their stress on their pet dogs. Pet cats needs a different handli...

Shitty picture

One more shitty incident that confirms the tiny nature of life is observed today when I just saw my bus to catch riding away in front of my own eyes. I was not late to the bus station but at the right time. I was half way crossing the main road when the bus reached the station. When i crossed the other half bus left. I did not want to make shitty noise and stop the bus thus it went on. This was the begining of happyness for everyone excluding me. I got my work snatched but i still made my collegues laugh. I will not speak much and i know i'm boring which puts me in last priority in everyones list. Yes i'm dumb. If you think so Fuck your Ass Off and Shit. Bye

Toxic Masculinity

Violent masculinity is oppressive, exacerbates social conflict and is incompatible with democracy Three images of social violence have haunted me recently. The first was that of a minor girl in her teens, beaten mercilessly by a village elder. Her crime? She dared elope with her young lover. Second, after the acquittal of all six men accused of lynching Pehlu Khan, TV channels replayed the visuals in which a crowd of men participated gleefully in the atrocity. The third was of three Dalits being thrashed over allegations of theft. The barbarity of this violence can hardly escape anyone, but equally striking is the absence of any woman among the perpetrators. This theatre of cruelty has an all-male cast. Of course, women perpetrate violence too: they can be aggressive and brutal, particularly to other women. But undoubtedly, the culture that stokes such violence smacks of machismo. Though not solely responsible for such violence, this culture plays a central role in its recurrence, ju...

Nature's Design Specifications An Enigma Creation

The Ludicrous " Blood Temperament "

Image
This discussion has started from my friends social media status to a research and I'm here to find more realities based on this fact. Researchers in Japan and South Korea believes in deriving a thread that relates a person's personality with his/her blood group. This seems to be an unscientific and obviously ludicrous idea and has so far got no real solid scientific evidence of proof but It is getting much popular since 2008. The initiator dates back to 1927 when Takeji notes in his journal about a weird idea that got not much attention but it gained popularity with the series of books that followed almost immediately after that. The concept was discussed at a government level to breed best kinds of soldiers and group people for varies works in top companies in those countries at those times. This idea faced an idle death after 1940 with Takeji's death but got revived again in almost same to high energy and popularity after 1970 with a paper publication and series of b...

Equality of Nature

Image
Mr/Mrs.  Ants and Me      I n our world of expression and fantasies we're likely to miss out many adventures and opportunities that we care about. We may be forced to adventures we dislike and even terrible things happen in life. "We care about" is an expression to be used carefully because why at all do we care about things we care? Certainly that was confusing but things we care are no more our care. Nature behave differently at different times because its bounded by time. Here the point is "Differently" because that difference is different for different. If someone ask you what are your boundaries; in general for a human being it looks like, he's not good at 'this' but I'm good at 'that' or for some instance I'm good at nothing like me. How does nature enforce equality on animals? Me the author of this blog is good at nothing but there are people who looks like a pro. Where i...

The Isha trip

Image
My trip to Isha Foundation was exiting as the trip itself was unexpected and against odds. My companions had to leave somewhere leaving me alone, when I felt so bored I started for this trip. Isha yoga centre at Coimbatore was the nearest and I had a day's time to spend alone there. The place is a forest area in the western ghats near velligiri where we a see a lot of tree lined up. I spent almost an hour staring at the statue of Adiyogi. There is even a place to meditate in the mid to tourist near the statue. I received a kind of sacred 'thertha' there. I thought that was it but people cannot come there for only this... I saw an entrance to a temple like thing. The entrance showcased some rock carvings and beautiful font writing of ' Isha'. I got to cross the road and pass the entrance, walk straight past the trees lined on the way. When I reached the next entrance to enter the place they collected my phone , phone no age and even took my picture. I had leave ...
